Key features of ThinLine?
Not just the next saddle pad! ThinLine uses a unique open-cell technology that transfers shock, weight and heat laterally along the pad without compressing. The result is 95% shock absorption.
✓ Improves the horse's movement
✓ Superior shock absorption like no other!
✓ Loves you balance in the saddle
✓ Great feeling for rider and horse
But there is much more…
✓ The open cell technology is 100% breathable
✓ Heat and moisture are not trapped.
✓ An antimicrobial agent is infused into the ThinLine material
✓ Stability: does not compress and does not slip!
✓ Pressure points are eliminated
Its signature open-cell technology also makes ThinLine 100% breathable, meaning heat and moisture are not trapped. There is also an antimicrobial agent infused into the ThinLine products.
Additionally, pressure points created by movement in the saddle and the challenges associated with working muscles are nearly eliminated because ThinLine does not compress or slip. It also has a longer lifespan than any other product on the market.
What are the effects of ThinLine?
“The way ThinLine absorbs movement encourages horses to move through the back,” explains Elaine. “We receive every day stories about how ThinLine saddle pads have improved a horse's movement or a rider's ability to sit their horse's gaits.
These riders tell us that they have little to no back problems and that their horses work better and happier. It's a two-way street of comfort, preventing problems, solving challenges and just better communication.”
Where did it all start, years ago?
Our company with its roots in the horse world is the result of a chance meeting with an engineer who developed a thin shock-absorbing material to protect athletes, a specially designed, open cell foam.
Horsewoman and entrepreneur Elaine Lockhead Castelao recognized the potential of this foam to improve performance and reduce discomfort for horses and riders.
